OK, Major League Soccer announced last week that St. Louis will be the 28th team, in a bid that was though to be dead last year, after the initial bid lost it vote for funding for a stadium by city voters, it wasn't until Carolyn Kindle Betz and The Kavanuagh Family owner of the Enterprise Rental Car franchise got some investors went private in funding and stadium funding plans and the only thing now is the land for the stadium getting approved by St. Louis city council if not already approved. And with this would bring a second MLS franchise to Missouri next to Kansas City's Sporting Kansas City a charter MLS team. Oh, and did I forget it's the first female-majority/ female-led owned team in MLS and one of the few in the nation if not the world. Now i mention that because Don Garber stated in the press release announcing the expansion that St Louis is a expansion franchise

"St. Louis is a city with a rich soccer tradition, and it is a market we have considered since the league's inception. - Don Garber

Now I mention that cause Raleigh is just like that, and is like St. Louis and we are a community with real heart than the deep pockets of Charlotte. And this is why the city needs to hop on board with the Stadium plans with Steve Malik, furthermore Malik needs to add MLS in the mix with this and revive the bid. So lets get this ball rollin'. Also I feel with St. Louis, before Cincinnati, then Nashville I feel like all the bid that were alive and poised to get it like Detroit, Phoenix, and San Antonio are dead, and the cities that were dead and didn't even have a chance if not a seldom chance last year like Sacramento, Cincinnati, and Charlotte their bids or alive or making some sorta progress.
